"Tengo una inclinación por la metapoesía: me parecen fascinantes las dinámicas de asumir el proceso de hacer las paces con la idea inicial y empujarse a través de las imágenes. Pienso que hay mucho que contar sobre enfrentarse a la página e ignorar las racionalizaciones sobre lo que posiblemente haya al otro lado y apagar las alarmas. El propósito de este texto es dialogar con mis prejuicios y el maniqueísmo inherente. Mirarlos con más ternura para poder entenderlos y fluir desde ahí."

"I tend toward metapoetry: I'm fascinated by the dynamics of the process of making peace with the initial idea and then pushing oneself forward through the images. I think there's a lot to be said for facing the page and ignoring rationalizations about what may be on the other side and just turning off the alarms. This text is meant to enter into a dialogue with my prejudices and my inherent Manichaeism. To look at them more tenderly so I can understand them and flow from there."
